About MuPIF

MuPIF is a modular, object-oriented, open-source simulation platform built to support the development of sophisticated, distributed multiphysics simulation workflows. It seamlessly integrates Digital Twin technology to enhance modeling capabilities.

The platform features a user-defined Digital Twin model and includes a graphical editor for designing and executing complex workflows. These workflows are constructed from fundamental components known as *models*. MuPIF supports standardized, interoperable protocols for data exchange and model control, enabling dynamic interaction between components.

Workflows operate on the Digital Twin data model, allowing the creation of new virtual states of the simulated entity. MuPIF ensures complete traceability and reproducibility of simulations. Its distributed architecture enables execution across diverse computational environments, including high-performance computing (HPC) systems. Secure communication and data exchange are facilitated via VPN-based infrastructure.
